Peter Prevot, CPA
Peter Prevot, CPA is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bridge West Consulting. Peter has been a leader in the cannabis and alternative medicine industries since 2012. With a background in finance, regulatory analysis and corporate governance he has helped shape policy and industry standards at both the state and national levels.
Peter began his career navigating the complex tax and banking regulations of the emerging legal cannabis sector. In 2018, he merged his consulting practice with Bridge West CPA’s, a national firm specializing in cannabis advisory services. As the founder and Executive Director of the Louisiana Association for Therapeutic Alternatives (LATA), the Marijuana Pharmacy Association, and the Southeast Cannabis Policy PAC, Peter continues to advocate for the responsible expansion of the cannabis industry across the Southeast and beyond.
He serves on the National Cannabis Industry Association’s State Regulations Committee and brings extensive experience in federal and state-level grant and contract procurement through his work with Tulane University Medical School’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science.
Through Bridge West Consulting, Peter helps cannabis operators maximize profitability, navigate compliance, and scale efficiently. He has guided businesses from startup to exit, assisting dozens of licensees with regulatory approvals and securing over $250 million in acquisition and buyout capital. His leadership extends beyond cannabis, with previous board service for the Pointe Coupee Enrichment Fund, Upbeat Academy Foundation, and the Veterans Alliance for Holistic Alternatives.
